We are out of the vineyards for a while with the 8 inches of recent rain making everything nicely soggy. We'll be building bait traps for rodents, and getting ready to spray for weeds and till as soon as we can get back out there. Ordering replacement vines for the missing ones and planning some irrigation upgrades to better balance the limited water pressure than last year.
We are wrapping up Malo-lactic fermentation, barreling down and racking We' for the first time to reduce lees in our 2014's We will be fining our whites in January, and adding oak as needed to tune the reds.
