Rain! As of Tuesday, we are up to 8.5 " for the season. We're not doing much field work with the rains keeping the ground soft, and getting a tractor stuck is no fun. We sprayed half the vineyards for the first time a week ago and hope to get the rest soon. April & May will bring shoot thinning and irrigation maintenance.

Inventory shows that we are down to just a few cases of "Let There be White". Barrel tasting of our 2012's shows the Dijon Clone is still developing with some interesting barrel to barrel differences, and that the Soli Deo Gloria (West) and Athena's (East) Cabernets are coming along nicely.

We had a great time at Passport, the new stage was a hit with the bands. The rains limited attendance a bit, but those who came out seemed to enjoy themselves. We participated in the South Valley Wine Auction, to support the Morgan Hill School Athletic programs, and will be at the Morgan HIll wine stroll later this month at Murphy's Mercantile on Monterey Highway.

THIS WEEKEND:  We'll be blending!  Come on by, you just might get to be a taste tester!
